GIMP is the ultimate behemoth presence lurking below in the deepest extent of Linux it seems.

Zen_Shinobi@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 362d (3 replies)

If anyone can figure out GIMP, they win the internet

supersquirrel@sopuli.xyz · 8 pts · 362d (2 replies)

No, GIMP got really good recently!

cthulhupunk0@lemmy.ml · 9 pts · 362d (1 reply)

Yeah, but not a leap like post-2.79 Blender.

FishFace@lemmy.world · 5 pts · 362d

Blender releases are routinely mind-blowing.

FAKE! There is no way that touching grass is an actual part of the Linux experience! 🤣

joulethief@discuss.tchncs.de · 18 pts · 362d (3 replies)

OpenStars@piefed.social · 4 pts · 362d (2 replies)

For those curious, let me save you some time and notify ya that most(if not all) of the items below aforementioned line are conspiracies or gags basically. Not trying to gatekeep, just felt a PSA could help

yetAnotherUser@lemmy.ca · 6 pts · 362d

Now I need one of those videos where they explain the iceberg image

NeatNit@discuss.tchncs.de · 6 pts · 362d

I'm pretty happy up here on the surface to be honest.

Manifish_Destiny@lemmy.world · 6 pts · 362d

Not sure what's so special about yocto.

HappyFrog@lemmy.blahaj.zone · 4 pts · 362d

Isn't the "5 permission bit" just a bit that tells the system to run the program as the owner of the file? So sudo is run as root for example.

Badabinski@kbin.earth · 3 pts · 362d

Where would be manually modifying modules.dep and map files on this, I wonder?

palordrolap@fedia.io · 3 pts · 362d

Which is the fifth bit? Sticky or setuid?

And either way, with this reckoning chattr is somewhere below this picture, and SELinux is bothering the upper mantle.
