During the arrests, border patrol agents reportedly lined the 44 firefighters up and ordered them to produce identification, according to The Seattle Times, with crew members telling how they were not allowed to film the encounter.
Why aren't American citizens allowed to use their First Amendment right to record activities in public?
Because the US is a fascist-controlled state now, which means that Wilhoit's Law is in effect:

They're wildland firefighters. They hike or fly in and camp for sometimes weeks at a time. Generally they have very little beyond shovels and survival tools to defend themselves in that situation.

Well the relation was about the "heaven thing"
They dont care if they are "good immigrants" (which is already a horrible term for its own...) all they want is that those people dont live / exists where there are. And this includes people who would save their life's (firefighter)
For the most part yeah firefighters are a good force, but their origins are just as shady as the police.
And even to this day there are plenty of places where the fire department operate closer to their original counterparts then they do to the image we have of them.
I’d imagine from their perspective that it’s a perfect time to strike: they’re in a known location, can be gotten to, and are busy trying to prevent forests from burning and people from dying. What’s ICE gonna do, just not be mindless fucking ghouls?
Because fire fighters are by definition better and more worthwhile people than ICE thugs. AKA not petty assholes who will automatically sink to the level of their assailants.
Fire fighters save lives, ICE agents end and destroy lives.

I really want to see states like Washington harness their state troopers to track down and "block" ice, or protect their constituents.
But maybe thts just came I live in a currently Red state (VA) that is working with ICE.
