The Ritual and The Fisherman, are amazing books. I find the ritual novel way more scary of the film. The Red Tower and Nethescurial are both of Thomas Ligotti and he had a very "unique" narration. Slow, creepy, atmospheric, and deeply pessimistic. I'll add the rest to my reading list.
