Require bond hearings for ICE detainees before leaving AK

Right now, AK ICE detainees are shipped out of state (usually to Tacoma, Washington) BEFORE having a bond hearing.

This means that even if they have the money for bond, they don’t get a chance to pay it before they’re outside Alaska.

Once they make it outside the state, if they make bond, THEY have to pay for their flight back to Alaska.

This is wrong.

Contact Murkowski/Sullivan/Begich and ask them to contact the U.S. Department of Justice Executive Office of Immigration Review to request that AK ICE detainees get a bond hearing while still in AK.
