Is priest synonymous with monks? I just categorize “monks” with more Eastern beliefs and wasn’t sure if those were popular in Poland.

Yes, Christian monks in europe are a thing and often they specialize in productive activities such as gardening, beekeeping and prominently, beer-brewing

Monks aren't really priests, but they are religious. There are Christians monks in Europe and Buddhist monks in Asia.
Both are missing hair ^^
