Got a custom set of polymer furniture made, because I really love the look of the Henry Axe, but also really love their Model X lineup.
So, I put them together, sorta!
Loving the red dot on this, too, as it doesn't seem to show me a starburst like most other red dots do (I have astigmatism in my dominant eye).
And the single point sling makes toting it a breeze, if I choose to not do the holster.

Future plans:
- Cut down pic rail to minimum length
- Leather wraps for foreend, grip, and lever loop
- Remove iron sights, install dovetail blanks
- Weld steel studs to outside of lever, for a knuckleduster

I wonder what's different with that particular red dot. Every one I've looked through without glasses or contacts shows a star.

My guess is a finer laser? Or, maybe a bigger, less focused laser?
I even see the starbursts with my glasses, too, so mine is pretty bad. Contacts fully corrects it, by and large, except for the worst of the worst.

I found that turning down the brightness helps a bit with the star
