'Mildly infuriating' is hardly an objective metric of course. Personally the asymmetry bothers me to no end and I would therefore say it is definitely mildly infuriating to see them mounted so badly.

Exactly. They're pretty cool, but once I noticed how ever so slightly uneven they were...I could not unsee it

Yep the S1000RR is a BMW motorbike with asymmetrical headlights.
