Political violence has been happening for... well, ever. If we're talking recent history, Trump's own
attorney generalchosen FBI Director from his first term testified to Congress after Jan 6 that right-wingers are nearly 2.5x more likely to be the ones doing it. And they have been.EDIT: I later remembered that I gave the wrong job title to Christopher Wray. My memory has never been great, and it's getting worse as I age. sigh
