I really hate it when I'm alone in the evenings when I imagine families are gathering. It reminds me of all my lonely evenings on high school when companionship meant spending time watching Laurence Welk with my great aunt & her other boarder, my narcissistic stepmom and very young step twins, or my mom & her boyfriend & then husband (after they married, she didn't have room for me to spend the night). It sucked - I just had me, myself, & I plus homework & writing. @LonelinessCorps
