I would like to try the new Fairphone with /e/ OS. But I am afraid that it won't work for me. In that case, is it possible to install Google's Android on the Fairphone I originally ordered with /e/ OS?

There is a guide from Fairphone themselves on how to do it. Its the same process as flashing any other custom OS. You can fuck things up while flashing a custom OS, so read through every step carefully before you start doing anything.

From the Murena website :
You'll probably have to unlock the bootloader, (as for the standard fairphone), but it is doable.

Lineage OS will do that (give you ungoogled / debloated android)

It's basically a fork of AOSP before google turns it into android.
