After this year I’m done with pumpkins. Love them but holy hell squash bug invasion. Went on vacation and came back to a full blow infestation. It’s taken all the joy out of it. Hoping a hiatus will get rid of them.
Squash bugs are the WORST - try companion planting with nasturtiums or marigolds next season, they're natural repellents and i've had way less problems since adding them around my squash patch.
