The most charismatic at the party, is it the ‘best’ talker, or the best listener? Sincerity plus empathy sparks connection. I wonder which character made the impact, what is the back story.

Yeah I guess so according to that guy...however it was a step up from being a divine trait.
Although this was written in 1892 and then translated from German so a lot of meaning has changed.
