Right! It wasn't something I was super into then besides what I heard on the radio. After giving it another listen a few years later they're pretty great all around.
This reminds me of playing Audition Online back in the day and playing... "Evolution" I think? On repeat. I don't remember if that's the name of the song, now I gotta look it up.

I remember hearing this on the radio and thinking wow, this is definitely different, and I like it. It signalled a big change in "rock" music for me.
