I like it. It's solid on a mobile phone but a bit hit and miss on desktop. Good alternative to FreeTube

I have it on my phone but don't watch YT on mobile frequently. It works well enough though when I do use it.

I dont have youtube so i use it as my main mobile video viewing app. So far im happy with it. I have the youtube and odysee plugins. Devs also seem to be responsive and helpful on github, as i found out when i did a derp i thought was a bug but wasnt and opened an issue.

The developers are FUTO and their badass. They're hardcore against the tech oligarchy.

I'd like to know whose bright idea it was to have Eron Wolf "interview" that shithead Curtis Yarvin a few years ago, and if they regret it at all.

I use Freetube and I'm happy with that, but I"ve seen people say a lot of good things about Grayjay.

I'm enjoying it. I like it's sync feature, so now my history and playlists etc are shared across my 3 main devices. No issues so far but still relatively new to it. I find it's more reliable across vpns than newpipe or freetube.

What VPN/server do you use? I use Grayjay without logging into my YouTube account at all I find it very unreliable over every Private Internet Access VPN server I've tried. YouTube seems to block all the providers IP ranges.

I'm using Proton Unlimited.

Overall a solid app, good to have as a backup whenever Youtube introduces changes that break the NewPipe mechanism. Fine on larger screens like tablets, but the UI can get a bit busy for my taste on a phone. They say it's merely source-available, but I won't belabor it since I trust the developers' intentions.

It is pretty good, you can watch videos from different plarforms. Mobile looks solid to me. Desktop doesn't have picture-in-picture, which sucks, cuz I like having a little screen in the corner as I work. Other then that, grayjay is pretty good.

Its a good Youtube frontend imo. I use it daily on mobile. It is amazing if you watch content from different plattforms, like Nebula. Then you get everything in one app.
