I appreciate your concern, but I just let him bite/lick it for the photo op. But I do agree that actually feeding him full portions chowder or crackers would be very bad. I feel my gatos much healthier proper cat food. The photos are just silly. πΉπΈ
Dude the internet gets so triggered when an ounce of junk food gets even remotely near an animal. Junk food is also bad for humans lol. My cat gets a healthy diet but sometimes he gets curious and shoves his face in my coffee mug or whatever for a second lol. He's fine.

Just because they post one funny picture doesn't mean their cat regularly eats that stuff.
It also doesn't mean their cat was actually eating it.
