Since I didn't know anything about SPGB, I looked it up a bit and found the folling very interesting reference about this book from licom.org:
They stood almost alone against the 1914-18 war, and foretold the state capitalist outcome of the Russian Revolution. We disagree with their electoralism but reproduce this text for reference.
