Both images where taken with the camera in the exact same location, first picture with focus set to 6m and the second one with focus near infinity. The large diameter of the Camera lens (100mm) allowed the camera to "peak around" the bars.

Yes, but there are no panoramas taken from this location on OSM, whereas Google had several.
