when you post a link to an image or video you should use
![altr]
and then
(url)
with no space and put the link in between the parentheses, then the image will render without clicking the link. Most clients have a button in the comment box that looks like a picture of mountains to do this automatically.

Just so you know when you post the link without the "image" markup the image doesnt appear for many clients.
