You can get a cheap phone holder of some kind and use the timer option of your camera app. A 10 second timer is usually enough to put the last paw on and pose

I have a tripod and remote, so I have that part sorted. I think my problem is mostly with lighting? It's hard to keep the recessed follow-me eyes from just being dark.
