I just spent a few hours playing it earlier tonight... It's so good! They nailed the Silent Hill aesthetic properly! The sound design is perfect (as usual when Akira Yamaoka is involved). I was slightly worried it would have some glaring flaw after so long without a SH and the last one being made by an American team that didn't quite get it right, but... Yeah. The wait is over and it was worth it.
Yeah, so far it's pretty good. I haven't gotten far though. I wanted to play a bit before I went to sleep. I'm going to grind the hell out of it when I wake. It looks like Silent Hill is back.
