Donald Trump's disapproval rating among Republicans is now in double digits, according to a new poll.

The survey by Quinnipiac University says 10 percent of registered Republicans disapprove of the President's handling of his role, thought the vast majority, 86 percent, approve of his presidency.

This is the first time Republican disapproval of Trump has hit double digits in Quinnipiac polling.

86 percent of the white supremacy party still loves the white supremacist in chief. Gross.

How does one get past the "rape" part in the first place?

FistingEnthusiast@lemmynsfw.com · 23 pts · 337d

He tells them that not only is their ignorance and hatred acceptable, but that it's righteous

They'll let anything slide, so long as they can keep hating

Typhoon@lemmy.ca · 11 pts · 337d

That's easy. I've heard if it's inevitable you should just lie back and enjoy it.

Christofascist white supremacy doesn't concern itself with crimes against non Christians or non whites.

There are a large number of Americans that want a society like this and they don't care if they have to uphold a vile person to get there.

But he called them ugly. That proves he’s innocent. A rapist would never call his victims ugly.

They have no issue dismissing the notion that Trump raped children because they've spent their lives hiding from inconvenient truths. What is religion but the laziest answer to all of life's most challenging questions? If you go into those cults, you'll find the members participate against their better nature because even their own commitment is lazy. For those people, comfort and convenience is king.

"Not all republicans are nazis" youre right, only 90% of them.

DasAlbatross@lemmy.world · 19 pts · 337d

Nah, that 10% would still vote for him today if they had to vote.

vegeta@lemmy.world · 52 pts · 337d

Should be in triple digits

balsoft@lemmy.ml · 47 pts · 337d

So 86% of registered republicans have never read a middle school history book? About checks out actually.

theherk@lemmy.world · 31 pts · 337d (2 replies)

How it isn’t triple digits will always escape me.

goferking0@lemmy.sdf.org · 6 pts · 337d

He's hurting the right people in their eyes. All that matters to most of them.

DarkDecay@lemmy.world · 4 pts · 337d

Low expectations and lower education levels allowed republicans to continue worshipping their fat, orange and inglorious leader

preludeofme@lemmy.world · 23 pts · 337d

Don't worry, he will bomb an American city and that will go back down to single digit disapproval ratings

AmidFuror@fedia.io · 22 pts · 337d

I can't imagine any Democratic President ever having only single digit disapproval ratings among Democrats. Be they right, left, or center.

leadore@lemmy.world · 20 pts · 337d (1 reply)

Oh, so a tiny number of them have shifted to a Susan Collins level of "concern"? *yawn*

3 of my “conservative” friends already saw the light and are now against him - there is hope - not much, but some

Wilco@lemmy.zip · 11 pts · 337d (3 replies)

No. It's too late. Give me a realistic scenario where Trump leaves office peacefully ... nope ... not going to happen.

athatet@lemmy.zip · 11 pts · 337d (1 reply)

He is old and he dies from it. That’s pretty much the only way.

saimen@feddit.org · 4 pts · 337d

Kings die as well, but they have sons and so does Trump.

desmosthenes@lemmy.world · 2 pts · 337d

hope in friends - yea dunno about trump leaving democracy

Azal@pawb.social · 9 pts · 337d

I stopped trusting that from 2020. I thought there was hope for people then they turned around and voted again.

deacon@lemmy.world · 12 pts · 337d

He doesn’t care beyond the degree that he needs to plausibly explain away why he doesn’t care right now.

But he truly doesn’t care, and it’s for the same reason that he assured his voters that they wouldn’t ever need to vote again.

melsaskca@lemmy.ca · 10 pts · 337d

That's almost as low as Epstein's public approval ratings.

CircaV@lemmy.ca · 5 pts · 337d

And yet America accepts this rolling coup.

mintiefresh@piefed.social · 3 pts · 337d

Too damn LOW.

Edit: I'd like to clarify. I meant the disapproval needs to be higher!
