I watched The Addams Family movie (1991) yesterday

It was pretty good. We can discuss it here, maybe.

That movie is so fun. Star filled cast (some current stars, some future ones), great script, solid set design, and an overall vibe that does justice to the comics.

I love the Addams Family. I'm aromantic but Gomez... Damn. Morticia, too.

That's why so many picture Morticia as being older when the 60s version looked like this.

That explains a lot. Wonderful execution.

Gomez and Morticia were perfectly cast in that movie. Two really great actors.

I really disliked how Gomez is portrayed in Wednesday. Raul and even the actor from the original black and white series were what I imagine Gomez to be.

I love the guy playing him, but yeah he isn’t the best choice.

They're relationship goals, they are.

It's an alternative/goth classic! We've talked about it in !gpral@hilariouschaos.com before Morticia and Wednesday are ICOMS

Real fun. Well played and well made. And, while not being mean, this movie is also not trying to be 'correct' which is something I can say I dearly miss in most recent productions as it turns most good ideas into meh products.

Why didn't you use the opportunity to start a discussion when you created a post about it anyway?

... they did?
