Retail merch model that lets people invest and see quick returns

Hey everyone,

I run a small merchandise retail business, and I’m experimenting with a way to help people invest on a very short cycle. Here’s the idea:

I stock merchandise in bulk.

When people come in as partners, their investment helps me scale up the stock.

Once the items are sold (usually within 24 hours depending on demand), the initial capital is returned plus profit.

My goal isn’t just to sell merch, but to introduce people to a low-barrier business model where they can level up financially without waiting weeks/months for results.

I’m curious:

Does this sound like a sustainable model to you?

What would you want to know before putting money into something like this?

How can I make this more appealing without sounding like a “get rich quick” scheme?

Appreciate any honest thoughts!

doesn't sound good. You are trying to make short gains on what is a long term asset.

What happens when the stock doesn't sell for a profit?

Good point. To reduce that risk, I don’t just sit on stock, I have a registered trailer I use at concerts and events. That way I can move merchandise quickly to people on-site. If something doesn’t sell out, I roll it into the next event with discounts. The goal isn’t unrealistic short gains, it’s smart turnover in high-demand spots.
