Yeah, I love my pannier bags. However I have a fold out basket on the other side of the rack that I generally use for groceries if I am stopping after work for just a single bags worth. Its grant. It's the ideal size for a standard paper grocery bag, which is the same size as our reusable bags.
I saw a guy on a bike carrying a large fan once. Kinda like yours. I wrote a little song about it and never forgot it. (This was like thirty years ago lol)
He's riding down the road on his bicycle
He's got a big white stand up fan
He's trying to cool off
But it ain't plugged in

I appreciate you! I'm working on it. I've been working in losing weight and strengthening, and biking 8km each way to work every day is definitely helping that.
However, recently I saw someone who I'm sure has quads of, I don't even know what. There's a local ice cream stand in my area I've seen before, that I assumed was towed by a car. Nope, saw the person towing it behind a bike the other day. It was an analog bike too.
You are 100% right. However, I had forgotten my cargo net / straps at home in my other pannier bag. So I had to improvise. What would you have me do, not get the cargo?

I've heard other people refer to this as the "Carry Shit Olympics" lol.

If you liked this for the Olympics, what do you think of this?
I have very big shoes, and this box had two pairs (each in their own box). I picked it up at my local PO box.

the fact that it went in the pannier rather than on the rack, despite being one of the exact shapes racks are specifically designed for, hurts
