Why is it called true gaming? Why not just gaming?

On Reddit, "true" something, means serious discussion about that subject, so truegaming is about serious discussion about gaming (as opposed to casual or lighthearted discussions about gaming).

I see. I don't game a ton but recently I put some solid time into Zelda BOTW.

It's great and I'm sad that I'm starting to run out of things to do in it.
