It's an interesting article, but unfortunately it only mentions the specific bird as the last line. It references another article that talks exclusively about that bird, the Manu-o-Kū (Gygis alba).

Interesting read, but I feel like it didn't really answer the article title. Why don't small nests fall? Specially once they are abandoned when birds migrate?
