The CIA probably only found out this was going to be publicly confirmed when they saw news stories about Trump running his mouth, both because the White House is being run like Lord of the Flies and because the CIA are a bunch of dumbasses who are actually shit at predicting what governments might do and basically only excel at giving money and weapons to the worst people on the planet
