Hello! Super baby Linux user (I installed it yesterday) that cannot for the life of me figure out how to make my second monitor work. It was working fine on day one out of the box, but for some reason today I cannot get it to even detect that the monitor is plugged in. I've tried changing the cables and updating my NVDIA drivers but neither worked. Using xrandr only detects one monitor, too.
Any help would be greatly appreciated! I really don't want to go back to Windows

Have you tried the Displays program? On Linux Mint MATE the terminal command for it is
mate-display-properties, i don't know what it's called on other desktop environments. That's where i see display options for how other monitors should work.Mouarfff@lemmy.world · 1 pts · 292d
