Well played, Dodgers. Outstanding performance from both bullpens.
Dodgers' stars played two games, only Vlad got exercised through to the end. (Shohei got to stroll onto the bases). I wonder if that bodes well for Toronto's later games. I hope Springer is alright.
Spent all night at the ER for what turned out to be a pedestrian inner ear issue. Not going to make it even to the first pitch tonight, I don't think. But Go Jays Go! Give me a higihlight reel to watch in the morning!
I understand your frustration at missing a world series game, but I think you probably did the right thing by seeking care, and walking out of the ER is the best case scenario. Sleep well, and I hope it'll be a winning highlight reel for you in the morning :)
Sorry, as a filthy casual I'm a little surprises by Scherzer over say, Bieber. Can any of you more knowledgeable folks explain what stunningly obvious point I'm missing? Much appreciated!
Shane Bieber hasn't been as good in this post season as Max has, that's it. Max has a better chance of going 4+, maybe 5, innings and allowing 3 or fewer runs than Bieber.
Also, this is an important game for us to win, because it's seen as the easier win than tomorrow (Ohtani starting pitcher) or Wednesday (Snell starting pitching I presume). So, we want to use out better starting pitcher to try to win tonight
Wild! The large chunk of my baseball knowledge that isn't from this run or playing as a kid is from Moneyball, so I guess I just figured stats/sample size would be a larger concern.

I don't usually watch or follow baseball. but I can't sleep with this game unfinished. It's nerve-wrecking. Is anybody still up?

At the edge of my seat, tied game at bottom of the 8th.

Got through Ohtani in the 9th. They say don't argue balls and strikes, but Dodgers review the play on the strike on Ohtani's balls at second base.

Hope Jays are not on eepy Eastern time. Next Ohtani matchup looking rough. This game is well fought for both.
Fisher more or less got away with a walk equivalent on Ohtani. (1BH)

This series might be one long pattern of one team jumping ahead, the other tying it up, and repeat. Rough outing for Fluharty

Ahhhhh, I guess I figured with such small sample sizes they'd look at the year or something at least. Thanks!
