You do not need nearly that much toothpaste on the toothbrush, a little dab is more then enough.

Reality: A pea sized amount of toothpaste is all you need; advertising shows far more on brushes to convince you to go through tubes faster.
Fiction: I think more of the toothpaste is on my body than on the brush.
