KubeSail Discontinued

Obligatory preface : I am not a member of the KubeSail team, just relaying info, and my dates are approximate.

I kind of forgot about this community since I didn't have anything new to post for a very long time.

But, for those that are not already aware, the KubeSail project has been discontinued and decommissioned. (my guesstimate timeline) The gateways were turned off once around late August 2025, brought back online to allow more time for people to migrate, then turned off permanently around the middle of September 2025.

Some of the related websites have been disabled but the Github repositories still exist and are publicly accessible.

Hello. Sad news, we're going to be shutting down kubesail. Breaks my heart, but we just dont have time to give it the love it needs. We'll be refunding folks who paid this month and yearly subscriptions. I recommend Tailscale Funnel and Cloudflare Tunnel if you're looking for remote access, and infra for a kubernetes ui. I really appreciate everyone who was part of this community. This wont be the last time I build something, so stay tuned. Thank you, genuinely. 2025-08-21

Cool project. To be honest, the only reason I got into it is because I needed a Pi CM4 in 2022-2023 and it was cheaper to buy a Kubesail PiBox than it was to pay the online scalper prices : D

I definitely don't regret doing it, enjoyed playing with it, and I'm going to have fun wiping / reconfiguring it from scratch as a learning experience.
