Here in Sweden we don't really have company/location specific unions, ours are sector based with national reach.
It has always confused me to hear about small unions like this.

Denmark has FH, which stands for "fagbevægelse hovedorganisation", which is essentially a kind of alliance of unions. The only one not part of this alliance is Krifa and their Faglig Hus (Krifa = kristelig fag).

I am shocked that a Christian organisation wouldn't play ball with the others. To be fair when I say "other countries" I'm obviously painting with a very broad brush. I'm sure that there are countries out there with good strong national unions, and I'd be surprised if that's not fairly common here in the Nordics.
We love our folkrörelser here in Sweden, like we even have a tenants union, that each year, among other things, negotiate rent increases with the landlords and their unions. They'll also offer legal counsel and even representation if you're a member, which if you're a tenant in Sweden you fucking should be.

Same in Denmark, but here we also have overenskomster for specific work places, or kinds of work.
For example, I work for Just Eat. This puts me with 3F Transport Group. They have the transportoverenskomst, which is the groundwork for overenskomster of specific types of jobs, like bus driver, truck driver, or in my case, food delivery. So, based on the transportoverenskomst, we have the madudbringningsoverenskomst.

It’s a matter for the courts, not the government of the day - I would think employment law on unlawful dismissal is pretty clear cut.

GTA 6 was something I was already planning to avoid. I'm sure it will be a technological achievement, but the fact that this game took close to a decade and a half to come out, I moved on from the idea of a new GTA game long ago.
Rockstar was happy to milk GTA 5 for that whole time rather than making new games the fans wanted. Sure RDR2 was released, but were fans really only wanting one game in a decade plus? Of course not. Why make a new game when you can make money from micro transactions in your current one. Basically acting like GTA landlords and expecting continued money while offering no real value to an old game. They even put a casino in GTA online, in case you needed a clearer idea of what their priorities are now.
GTA 6 will probably have a great story mode, but the GTA online garbage is coming too, guaranteed. It would not surprise me if the online components even find a way into the single player story. Not to mention the size this game will be on your system. I bet 200 gb - 300 gb and the probably higher price tag.
Now Rockstar is union busting. This is on top of all the toxic work environment flak they got for over working their employees in the RDR2 development.
Fuck you Rockstar, I don't need a new game from you.

You are being facetious, but the question demands an answer: there IS no good reason for investors. It's very likely Rockstart genuinely would not have made as much money developing new properties as they did exploiting their established ones. And if they did, it would have been a gamble vs a virtual sure thing.
The demands of capital are not compatible with art. These companies don't serve our needs, they exploit our desires. Don't buy art from corporations, buy it from artists.
