ZF is experiencing more problems that the chip shortage. I work as a development service provider with ZF and it is most of the time awful. There a far more middle management layers between me and somebody who knows something relevant, than at any other company I have worked with. The term "Wertschöpfung" (value adding) is not to my taste, but when I have meetings with most ZF personnel, I have to think about the lag of it more than anytime.

I have been told that ZF is almost always difficult to work with from an OEM perspective.
