I've been seeing these things on the Google News feed on my phone I keep disabling that keeps getting re-enabled for some mysterious reason. It's literally gotten to the point lately that if something is presented as a fact by google I automatically disbelieve it. What really concerns me is the people who don't take that stance.

Australia has headlight road rules? A lot of the time I think the blinding lights must be coming from a spaceship.

What really bothers me is that the road rules keep changing, but nobody collates the changes into the original document.
The current Vic road rules act is a full release in 2017, with about 10 patches. The patch to replace rules 299 and 300 (screens and devices) alone is 45 pages long.
Oh, and this week I asked a few AI models what happened to road rule 300. It cited the wrong rule every time. With confidence. Do NOT ask AI to cite laws.
