It's fast for me, since "installing" consists of copying the directory from my windows install to the Deck.

It could also be a reference to the fact that Steam Deck can now install and download games while put in sleep mode. It's in the latest Preview and Beta release of SteamOS.

Steam tends to be a lot faster download than other platforms. It's been a while, but GoG is roughly half the speed of steam, and Microsoft is basically dial up speeds.
