It took me a while to start accessorizing to add interest to my outfits (earrings, statements heels, handbag). I'm currently loving doing pattern clashing or pattern matching. I often wear pencil/midi skirts for work so this fits well.
this summer, hot pink and tailored trousers were in fashion which was fantastic. i picked up a pair of hot pink tailored trousers from zara (similar). Lots of compliments received on them.

I love large, bold earrings, especially when I have short hair. Shoes with a pop of color that matches something on the top. Here's a good example of both:
