Austin is a weird place. Someone stole my bike phone holder and replaced it with their crappy one. I just threw it out and repurchased. It's not the first time I've seen a "trade in"

Back in the late 80’s I was going to college in Maryland and someone traded up on the drivers side mirror of my VW rabbit. To replace the mirror was only 2 external screws. My ‘new’ mirror would fold in at highway speeds. I had to. Ut a new mirror.

Guess I’m trying to say this isn’t a new thing or an Austin only thing. But it still sucks when it happens to you.

Ugh, people are always doing this shit. I always cover up my Brooks seat with a plastic bag went parking my bike so people won't see it and be tempted to yoink it. Been lucky so far.
