Two officers received some of MADD’s highest honors for the number of DUI arrests made each year, but later had cases dismissed when blood tests showed the arrested individuals had no alcohol or drugs in their systems.

This reads like they want everybody to have one of those breathalyzer boxes in cars. Fuck that if so, I’ve watched those things refuse to let a car start for several sober people. On top of being a chore to “blow” into correctly. (Maybe they’ve improved? I’ll admit, I don’t know, I’m not consistently exposed to these devices.) If there’s an emergency and one of those refuses to start for a sober people, that feels like too high a failure rate for me.
