VNC Thin Client

Does anyone have a good guide for setting up a PC as a VNC kiosk? I'm trying to scrape together details, but still coming up short. Ideally the machine will boot, auto-login as a non-root user, start a VNC client, and log in to the remote VNC server with stored credentials.

The Matchbox window manager is normally a good start for this sort of project.

It displays a single application at a time full screen.

That might be helpful. So far I was skipping the window manager and just opening the application by itself in xinit.

Not sure about the guides, but there are entire distributions specifically made for this: https://www.thinstation.org/

Thanks, I'll give that a look.
