Today I cleaned out the screen on the bathroom exhaust fan using qtips.

Very exciting.

Use a brush next time, way easier.

Or if it's easy to remove, wash in the kitchen sink.

This advice would work fine for an exhaust fan purchased as an exhaust fan. We are a bit more... creative. This is a little 10 inch box fan that we crafted a housing for and put a piece of screen into then jammed it into a hole cut in the wall above the toilet.

We live in the middle of the bush so bugs are a big problem if we don't have screen on every nook and cranny.

As such this is easier to clean with a qtip than a brush.
