Kind of tutorial, install postmarketos on Xiaomi Redmi S2

Exciting! Is it working ok? I tried all the DEs available on an Wileyfox Swiff earlier this year (foloowed instructions on the wiki) and they eather didn't wake from sleep, touch didn't work and or it was glitchy as hell (that looked amazing, tbh).

Ohhh, they're obly like 40 quid on Ebay, tempting ...

Hello, The latest pmos, with Xiaomi Redmi S2, has several problems which makes it unusable as serious phone:

• in parameters/sound, we must choose which entry and exit we want
• there is no feature in the profiles (complete, discrete, silenced) to adapt them at different situations and make further settings
• thus, when set on earpiece, the phone rings on earpiece when a call happen
• when set on speaker, it rings well, but makes echo since it uses speakers to talk
• their must be a feature to ring automatically with speakers, and switch to earpiece when we take the call
• geary and file manager have problems switching between select and scrolling, Geary tries to move emails or open them instead of scrolling, and file manager too, that's worse in this last case.
• dolphin hasn't this problem
• touchpad doesn't react sometimes, rather often, like there is latence to scroll

I have other bugs to say.

Finally I don't know how to put this in a place where it's read by many people, lemmy I don't have a lot of reacts, mastodon the same, here the messages are buried, is gitlab the best place?

I want really pmOS to become a solid alternative, time flies and here in Europe it's not a lot better with worse companies

Selecting text behaviour is not stable, maybe you know that

I didn't find any system to make screen recording:

• Alt + Ctrl + Maj + R doesn't work
• long press on on button doesn't propose it
• status bar doesn't have it
• Kooha and others don't work
• ffmpeg don't work because it's Wayland
