Samples of every form of biological matter we encountered were ingested, and the results were recorded in a logbook. Most of the leaves and twigs were unpalatable, chewy and inert, while the animals universally avoided analysis because they were too fast to catch.

This is a banger. RIP to our boy George.

That's an amnita, maybe a blusher or panther cap.

This is the stuff I come here for.

The paper, not the mushrooms. Although, if you have any shrooms...

"pin the fluorine on the heterocycle" ooh my favorite party game

Help a fellow understand

fluorine does not enjoy being pinned on things and if you make it angry enough it'll catch on fire

a heterocycle, being an energy dense hydrocarbon, is an unfun thing to have near angry fluoride

I am a chemist specialized in drug design. This article opened my eyes. I'm up to a great scientific discovery. Way too many people have been avoiding amanitas due to disillusions and ingesting large quantities of organic chemicals. Tomorrow I'll start my new sampling of mushroom properties using myself as evaluator, see you all at the Nobel candidature.
