If Elon is saying that sub-ten micron accuracy is necessary, that tells me that a quarter inch is probably fine.

Yes, let's design a metal car that has to sit out in the sun during a global warming crisis within a small margin of error because heat won't warp the shit out of that car. It'll look like microwaved cling film after a single summer afternoon.
