Arrest was made in a 1991 Texas cold case. She would have gotten away with it, too, if it weren't for those meddling University of Texas at Arlington's Criminology and Criminal Justice Department...

So, they had a motive (one personally confirmed by the suspect) and a suspect with no alibi, suspicious knowledge of the crime, and multiple failed polygraph tests from the original investigation. It doesn't sound like the students really find anything new, just reviewed the original evidence and said, "yeah, it really does look like this woman did it." And now the police arrest her? Makes me wonder why she wasn't arrested in the first place...
