DS9 and Voyager can’t be upscaled without redoing all the CG from scratch because those assets were not saved like the film was.
They should totally do it, but it’s not cost effective from their perspective. Something that should be petitioned after Trek gets sold to a new owner.

Yeah, it's unfortunate. I do occasionally attempt to find a still from an upscaled version I have.

AI might be able to help in a few years.. I am kinda hoping there will be an “upscale transcoder” type thing where you play the originals in hd.
Current AI I wouldn’t trust for any of it though.
