Is there an e-ink product on which I can do the Guardian Cryptic Crossword?

Trying to do it on my phone is piss. I'm considering a digital option. I read fairly often, I can take notes on it too - I think it would fit me. I haven't owned an eink device before but think they're pretty cool. Any advice?

edit: the crossword is here: https://www.theguardian.com/crosswords/cryptic/29858

You could try like a pinenote eReader or a Boox or similar. If you want more work you could get a kindle and jailbreak it (I think this is the cheapest option, but also the most labor intensive).

I have a Boox Tab Mini C, and it's basically just an e-ink android tablet so I don't see why that wouldn't work.

would you mind awfully opening the crossword on your boox and see if it works?

I'm at work right now but I can do that when I get home and let you know. Shouldn't be a problem.

Yes, on my Boox Tab Mini C I can play the crossword. I have to go a little slower than I normally type to get the letters to go in the boxes (slower refresh rate and all that), but it looks like I can use all the functions like checking words and clearing the crossword.

thanks! I'll think about it
