The leaves come dry and precut. I'm not exactly sure what the material is, but they are crunchy like real leaves. I have jars of different colors. To give them durability I mixed up water and PVA, and mixed them leaves in to make a kind of leafy paste. There's some green micro flock as well which I mostly add separately but if a little mixes into the leaves adds more variety.
