I have a question. I'm using the ADVANCED METHOD method to automatically update the hosts file.
I see it updates the hosts file every three hours to check for errors and omissions.
However, I'm wondering if checking every three hours might negatively impact my computer's performance?
Could I change the update time to once a day at 12 PM?

You don’t need to worry, the three-hour check used by the Advanced Method is extremely lightweight and won’t affect your computer’s performance under normal conditions.
Even on older systems, the task only runs briefly and uses minimal CPU and memory, so it won’t slow down your computer.
If you’re still concerned about performance, then the Advanced Method might be more than you need.
In that case, it’s better to use the Basic Method, which performs a simple once-daily update and avoids the extra checks and validation steps.
And honestly, if a simple scheduled task is noticeably affecting your system, it’s time to consider updating your device!
