$11 for what? I mean, how many units would that be?

"Long-acting insulin pens will be available at pharmacies for $11 per pen — or $55 for a five-pack — beginning Jan. 1. The pens are interchangeable with glargine, the generic alternative for Lantus, a once-a-day injection that regulates blood sugar. An equivalent amount of Lantus sells to pharmacies for more than $92, according to data compiled by the governor’s office, but consumers may pay a different price based on their insurance."

Yes, I have read the article. I asked the question that was not answered.

Same 300u as the Lantus pen.

Ah, OK. Now that is a base to compare them.

That still to high, it cost a fucking dollar to manufacture.

How much to pack it up in a material that won't damage the product? How much to move it and how far is it going? California is the third biggest state and it will have to go very far. How much to unload it and distribute it to local doctors?

How does it cost for insulin without the state? Your ignorance is frustrating.

Its taxpayer money shouldn't cost nothing. Anything that requires someone to take or you fucking die shouldn't cost money. ESPECIALLY WHEN ITS TAXPAYER MONEY!
