Departments also prefer to limit their IQ to ~104 because if you’re too smart you won’t make a good cop

Look, I hate pigs with all of my soul. I have suffered at their hands, many, MANY times. But that was a one-off case. A case 25 years ago.

Yes, I know, you're so smart for digging that up. I got cookies? Want a cookie?

EDIT: No one got a rebuttal? No one can say I'm wrong here? Isn't that something. Going on your gut instinct? Like anti-vaxxers?

No, just that doing it once was doing it too many times, and if you can't grasp that concept, you are part of the problem.

Mental instability sounds more like a requirement than a detriment

If you didn’t have it before joining, you’ll have it after all the ‘training’ that consists of showing a million videos of cops getting shot!

Hours and hours of daily training being taught how to solve any and all problems by using your gun and only your gun.

Don't forget the seminars telling you that literally every person you ever meet, on or off duty, is planning and actively wanting to kill you.

To be fair, "An estimated 26% of Americans ages 18 and older -- about 1 in 4 adults -- suffers from a diagnosable mental disorder in a given year."

Sure, but we can screen our police better to make sure they won't harm our communities.
